Modular Tile Insert Strip Drain Kit for Tiled Shower Floors
The 3Monkeez Modular Tile Insert Strip Drain is a stainless steel channel grate kit for tiled shower and bathroom floors. The tile insert design lets floor tile sit inside the grate, giving the drain a cleaner and more integrated look than a fully exposed metal grate.
This standard version is for non-puddle-flange waste-pipe installations. Choose the configuration that matches your required length, grate width, channel profile and outlet size.
Kit Form Design That Can Be Cut Down
This modular strip drain is supplied as a kit and can be cut down to suit shorter lengths. That makes it useful when the finished shower floor does not match a fixed one-piece grate size.
The kit includes the stainless steel channel, tile insert grate, end caps, outlet piece, sealant and hole saw. It is made from 316 grade stainless steel and is WaterMark approved.
Choosing the Right Configuration

The standard version is for non-puddle-flange waste-pipe setups. The 50mm outlet options are designed for standard 50mm waste-pipe installations where a puddle flange is not being used.
Before ordering, confirm the outlet size, channel depth and finished floor height with your plumber or installer.
Flat Bottom Profile and Floor Height
The standard options use a flat-bottom channel profile. This is the shallower profile in the Modular range, with the listed options showing a 21.2mm channel depth.
Depth can affect the finished floor height, so it should be checked before installation, especially when matching the grate to the floor fall, tile thickness and waterproofing detail.
Need the Puddle-Flange Version?
This product is for standard non-puddle-flange installations. If your shower floor uses a puddle flange or leak-control-flange setup, use the 3Monkeez Modular Puddle Flange Tile Insert Strip Drain (click here) instead. The puddle-flange version uses smaller outlet options for compatible puddle-flange installations and should be selected when that waterproofing setup is required.
