The Clam® Flange 300mm Straight Grab Rail by Con-Serv is a compact bathroom support rail made from polished 304 stainless steel in the Polish Supreme™ finish. It measures 300mm long x 32mm diameter and includes concealed Clam® Flange covers with Safeguard® antimicrobial protection and stainless steel fixing screws.

Description

  • Product code: CF 300 PS.
  • Designed as a compact fixed handhold for bathrooms, toilets, accessible sanitary areas and Assisted Living settings.
  • Confirm that a 300mm straight rail suits the intended user, mounting position and available wall space before ordering.
  • The supplied stainless steel fixing screws do not replace the need to check the wall construction. An appropriately qualified installer should confirm the required fixing method and load-bearing support.
  • A 300mm straight rail should not be assumed to satisfy ambulant toilet cubicle requirements. These installations generally require L-shaped or otherwise suitably configured grab rails on both sides of the toilet pan.
  • For projects governed by AS 1428.1:2021, the product specification and proposed installation should be checked by the project certifier or an appropriately qualified installer.
  • Relevant project checks may include rail positioning, wall clearance, structural performance, rounded safety transitions and an anti-slip surface. These characteristics have not all been confirmed for this particular model.
  • Although its 32mm rail diameter falls within the standard’s general 30–40mm dimensional range, this alone does not establish AS 1428.1 compliance.
